Labelstudio is committed to protecting your privacy and personal data. We use your personal data only in accordance with the Privacy Act and other relevant applicable legal requirements. Any reference in this Privacy Statement to the Privacy Act is a reference to the Act of December 8, 1992 on the protection of privacy with respect to the processing of personal data. Any reference to the Regulation is a reference to the Regulation of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.
With this Privacy Statement, Labelstudio wishes to make you aware of any processing operations in relation to this data and of your rights. By using our website, you explicitly consent to possible processing operations by Labelstudio.
It is possible that this Privacy Statement will be subject to adjustments and changes in the future. It is up to you to consult this document on a regular basis.

3. What do we use your data for?
Delivery of the order
To ensure that the order is delivered on time and to the correct address we need the address and name. The email address and phone number we use to contact you to provide information about your order and shipment. The order details are used to deliver the correct products and the payment details are used to check if the payment has arrived.
Customer service
Our customer service team is always there for you. To make sure you get the best service our customer service uses your personal information (name, address, order and payment details and contact information). This way we can serve you best.
Account information
At Labelstudio it is possible to create a personal account. In the "my account environment" the name, address information, contact information, order history , (if completed) are stored. If you place a new order with us, the data are automatically filled in, which is very convenient. In your Labelstudio account you can easily view, modify and delete all information yourself. At Labelstudio it is also possible to place an order without creating an account.
Newsletters
Through our newsletter you will receive interesting information about our products, personalized offers and promotions. You can subscribe to Labelstudio's newsletters Want to stop receiving newsletters from Labelstudio? No problem, you can easily unsubscribe or change preferences.
Improving the website
We continue to work on improvements to our website. To find out what needs to be improved, we use data about customer behavior on our website. For example, by registering unique visitors we can see which pages are often used or how long a particular page is visited. By using this data, we can improve our website so that it works even better!
Submitting/changing data
Would you like to change or view your personal data? That is possible. Log into your account and correct or delete any data that is no longer correct. Are you unable to do this yourself, or do you not have an account at Labelstudio? Then you can also contact our helpdesk via email or phone. Please note, data used for invoicing of orders cannot be changed, because we are legally obliged to keep this data
Third parties
We transfer the data you provide to third parties as necessary for the delivery of the products you order. For example, we use a third party to handle payments (Sisow, Paypal) and offer our letters to Bpost. For sending our newsletters, we use email program Mailchimp.
When we provide your data to a third party we ensure through an agreement that your data will not be used for other purposes. We also agree that they will be deleted when they are no longer needed.
We work with various parties who analyze the behavior of our visitors. This is collected by means of Cookies, which are described later in this document.
Further, we will not provide the information you provide to other parties unless required or permitted by law. An example of this is if the police request data from us as part of fraud investigations.
4. Use of cookies
Labelstudio makes use of various cookies. Some of these cookies are necessary to provide a properly functioning website, some other cookies are used to analyze our website and customer behavior.

5. What are my rights?
Guaranteeing lawful and secure processing of personal data
Labelstudio always processes your personal data fairly and lawfully. This includes the following guarantees:
- Personal data are only processed in accordance with the defined and legitimate purposes of this Privacy Statement.
- Personal Data will only be processed to the extent that it is adequate, relevant and not excessive.
- Personal data will only be kept for as long as necessary to fulfill the defined and legitimate purposes in this Privacy Statement.
The necessary technical and security measures have been taken to minimize the risks of unauthorized access to or processing of personal data. In the event of an intrusion into its IT systems, Labelstudio will immediately take all possible measures to minimize the damage.
Right to access/correct/delete your personal data
On proof of your identity as a User, you have a right to obtain a decision from Labelstudio as to whether or not your personal data have been processed. In addition, when Labelstudio processes your data, you have the right to access the personal data collected. If you wish to exercise your right of inspection, Labelstudio will comply with this within one (1) month after receiving the request. The request is made by registered mail or by sending an e-mail to info@labelstudio.be.
Inaccurate or incomplete personal data can always be corrected. It is primarily up to the User to correct inaccuracies and incompleteness themselves. You can exercise your right to correction by providing a supplementary statement to Labelstudio. Labelstudio will act on this within one (1) month of receiving the supplementary statement.
You also have the right to have us erase your personal data without unreasonable delay. You can only invoke this right to be forgotten in the following cases:
- When the personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was originally collected;
- When personal data have been collected on the basis of consent obtained and no other legal basis exists for the processing;
- Where objection is raised to the processing and no overriding compelling legitimate grounds for the processing exist;
- When personal data have been processed unlawfully;
- When the personal data must be erased in accordance with a legal obligation;
Labelstudio assesses the presence of any of the aforementioned cases.
Right to restrict/object to the processing of your personal data
User has the right to obtain a restriction on the processing of your personal data:
- During the period Labelstudio needs to verify the accuracy of the personal data, in case of dispute;
- When the data processing is unlawful and User requests a restriction of the processing instead of erasure of the personal data;
- When Labelstudio no longer needs User's personal data for processing purposes and User needs the personal data regarding a legal claim;
- During the period Labelstudio needs to assess the presence of the grounds for erasure of personal data;
Users also have the right to object to the processing of their personal data at any time. Labelstudio will hereafter cease processing your personal data, unless Labelstudio can provide compelling legitimate grounds for processing your personal data that outweigh the User's right to object.
If User wishes to exercise these rights, Labelstudio will act on this within one (1) month of receiving the request. The request will be made via registered mail or via email to info@labelstudio.be.
Right to data portability
User has the right to obtain the personal data provided to Labelstudio in a structured, common and machine-readable form. In addition, User has the right to transfer these personal data to another data controller where the processing of the personal data rests solely on User's obtained consent.
If User wishes to exercise this right, Labelstudio will act on it within one (1) month of receiving the request. The request is made via registered mail or via email to info@labelstudio.be.
Right to withdraw my consent/right to complain
User has the right to withdraw consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on the consent prior to its withdrawal. In addition, User has the right to lodge a complaint regarding the processing of his personal data by Labelstudio with the Belgian Commission for the Protection of Privacy.
If User wishes to exercise this right, Labelstudio will take action within one (1) month after receiving the request. The request is made by registered mail or by e-mail to info@labelstudio.be.
